How to import from Revolut

1

Open Revolut and go to your account

Tap your account in the Revolut app. Look for the download or statements icon. It's usually in the top right of your account screen.

2

Export your statement as CSV

Select the date range you want. We recommend at least 3 months for better AI insights. Choose CSV format, not PDF.

3

Tap Share and select Vaulto

Tap the share icon and scroll through the apps until you see Vaulto. Tap it. Your statement goes directly from Revolut to Vaulto. Nothing is saved to Files or your camera roll.

4

Read your daily Summary

That's it. Vaulto reads your transactions, encrypts them, and Apple Intelligence writes you a plain-language summary of your money — spending, trends, and anything unusual — refreshed each day. Requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 or newer, an M-series iPad, or an Apple Silicon Mac.

Frequently asked questions

Direct bank connections require a server to handle authentication, and that server would see your transactions. CSV export means your data goes from Revolut to your iPhone only, with nothing in between.
Yes. All transaction data is encrypted using AES-GCM. The encryption key is stored in your iPhone's Keychain and is only accessible while the device is unlocked. Face ID is required to open Vaulto. Without your device passcode, the data is unreadable.
Vaulto currently supports Revolut CSV exports. bunq support and Dutch language are both in progress for v1.1. Beyond that, Vaulto will not add banks that only export PDFs. Inconsistent formatting, missing fields, and varying password protection make PDF parsing unreliable by design. Only banks with a proper CSV export will be supported.
No. CSV import from Revolut is the fastest way to get started, but you can add any account and any transaction manually. Vaulto works as a private finance tracker for any bank or any mix of accounts. More bank import formats are coming, but Vaulto will never use third-party bank connection plugins, because those require routing your credentials through an external service outside your control.
All data is permanently deleted from your device when you delete the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can remove the remaining copy from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Yes. One purchase unlocks iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Apple Silicon). On Mac, Vaulto runs the iPad app.

Vaulto is built on Apple Intelligence and runs only on devices that support it: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 or newer, an M-series iPad, or an Apple Silicon Mac, running iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26. No download is required and no additional storage is used — the AI is already built into your device.
They're placeholders Vaulto sometimes shows after deleting all data or pairing a new device, while iCloud finishes syncing in the background. They clear themselves the next time you open the app. If they're still there, open Settings → Categories → Re-categorise All to reset them manually.
